Useful WoW related Links

Just bought this game. Any guilds out there that would have a home for a moderately experienced MMO player once I have it installed and running - probably Monday? (EQ2, CoH, AC2).

Thats the bog standard UI that comes with the game. Just open up the options ingame and there'll be some options to turn them on.
 
This post is great! I particularly like the UI info - does anyone know of a way to make the fonts bigger though? I have trauled the net and can't find a way :( I usually use low res in games to get a bigger font but this doesn't seem to work in WoW as the font size stays constant.
 
Vita if your on about the 2 squares in the Far bottom right corner, then that should be Item Rack. A mod that allows you to set profiles. IE. a set for tanking, dps, Role play ;) So at a click of a shortcut button you can change from FR gear to tanking gear. Great mod. Also allows lil buttons positioned (by alt clicking on your character screen) to show up on ** UI for quick swapping of trinkets etc. without going into char screen.


few ui kinda dl sites like curse gaming and wowace place should be mentioned imo. (if your still updating the page that is)

can someone reccommend me a kick ass UI with lots of on screen action bars?

also, when im in stealth all my rogue attacks like backstab dissapear and i have to go into my spell book to use them, any way around this?

I can't help on the first because I still use the default UI, but I can help on the second.

When you go into stealth mode, the standard interface brings up a new button bar automatically. I would recommend bringing the stealth attacks onto that bar, same as you'd do when getting a new skill normally.

IIRC my stealth button bar has 1 = pick pocket, 2 = distract, 3 = cheap shot, 4,5 and 6 are things like garotte, ambush and backstab, can't remember the order though. Sprint's on my RH bar, which never changes.

One of the most popular UI available is made by Photek, i used to use it untill i figured out how to make my own, seriously good ui though.
 
Photek is very good although a little resource hungry for my liking as it brings together a lot of addons. If you're looking for something that will give max performance then Ace addons are the way to go as they use very little resources. You can pick and choose the addons that you want, I can't think of much that isn't covered... :D
