Found this list, added a few bits. I think it should be a sticky.

Post any other programs that need a mention.

Nah there's 2 versions of Orthos. The normal version is single-core, and the beta is dual-core.

You're right. I didn't realise that only the dual-core version is labeled Orthos.

Yep, nice work with this. Should make a useful sticky, although I'm not sure which I'd remove so that it can go up .

Anyway, I've always found Everest a really useful app. It gives loads of info on you're overclock, fan speeds etc and just on general stuff too (like SMART HDD data).

Found the free home edition for download here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html

vote for sticky! :D btw anyone who was chatting to me the other day im on my conroe rig now so should be cracking in some overclocks soon , just gotta go throught the thousands of drivers before i attempt it

This gets my vote for sticky, it's useful to have all these links in one place, and it has more tools than the overclocking for begginers guide does :)

Orthos Prime (beta), CPU-Z, Super pi and Memtest should be in bold or stand out in some way, as they are the main tools everybody needs. Would help people who don't know exactly what to download and want a quick-start.

The orthos beta works for all processors, dual and single core. It's the only prime you need.

Stickeh! :)

On a different note, and on reading the list properly...

You should either make a very obvious note to say that F@H should NOT be used for stability testing (although, yes, I know it is a very good stress test), as erroneous data being sent back does ruin the science they're doing, or remove it from the list.

Obviously, I'm not telling people not to fold (far from it ;)), but you should only really do F@H when you can vouch for the fact that it will return valid data.
