Please recommend usefull utilities + Firefox Add-ons after fresh installation of OS!

Hi all,

Did a fresh installation yesterday and of course there is always something you forgot to save/write down.. I was using a FF Add-on that when you hovered the mouse over the link you had the ability to see a pre view of the site the url takes you to if you so wish.. can't remember what the name was and can't seem to find it either! :( Does anyone know which add-on I am talking about?

I am also was wondering what utilities and FF Add-ons you guys would recommend? I had a browse through the Useful Freeware Utilities thread but its huge! Would like a nice and easy to use CD/DVD burner program, can either be all in one or two separate programs, doesn't matter as long as they don't hug resources like Nero.. and if I could rip CD to my PC that would be nice to for safekeeping!

Any other suggestions please fell free to post and I will have a look at them! (Already have the British English Dictionary, DownThemAll and Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer <-- That one is a safekeeper! :D )

Cheers
Tom

ImgBurn for burning CD's and DVD's plus EAC with the lame encoder to rip audio CD's. I remember bledd posting a version of EAC which was already configured with the lame encoder.

Thanks guys, will have a look into that NoScript thing.. used Adblock Plus in the past and it just irritate me.. but that was a while ago.. might try it again and see if its better or not..

Would you say the ImgBurn is the best CD/DVD burner out there? Will try it though and see how it works.. also, were able to find bleed.'s post (clicky to post if anyone else wants it) and have downloaded the EAC with lame encoder.. will try it next time I rip a CD!

Any other suggestions?

Cheers

PS I found the FF Addo-on I was talking about in my first post, it called Interclue if anyone would be curious!

I would also recommend noscript and Foxmarks. Also FireFTP comes in handy, as well as Web Developer and Firebug if you do any web dev.

A bit late now but Foxmarks is great for storing your bookmarks online.

Not at all, but I already got it though! :p

Have also added on these Add-ons: Smart Bookmarks Bar, Bookmark Duplicate Detector and Alexa Sparky.

I will have a look into FireFTP, don't do much web dev. but dibble in it a little bit so will also check out the Web Developer and Firebug tools..

Thanks you very much for the suggestions! Keep them coming! :D
