Seem like they were recently grabbed and have switched over to highwinds.

What a shame . Oh well, I only do 1 month at a time for exactly this reason. Will try out cheapnews next.

So highwinds tactic is = ruin your own service, buy out every one else.

I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to suggest some additional block accounts for me to setup to help complete missing files etc.

I currently have my primary subscription with Tweaknews (a highwinds reseller) and a block account with cheapnews. Any recommendations for an additional block/fill account?

I use Astraweb block account and Tweaknews as my secondary, not had many issues recentaly.

I found that Astraweb did not give a consistent download speed, it was very spikey and unstable. Although it could max out my 152MB connection, it was too up and down. I have since moved to newshosting.com which allows 30 connections vs the 20 that atraweb offer and even on SSL it can do max speed constantly with no drops.
