User generated web gallery software for my website project?

Basically I am hoping to create a website whereby users can create any number of galleries to show off their collection, all while other users can comment etc...

What kind of ready-made software exists out there web-gallery creations?

Does your hosting have cPanel Fantastico?. There should be a gallery within that that you can add to your websites. Coppermine and 4images are both quite a common add-on by default within cPanel as long as you have Fantastico in there.
