Username/Password for Netgear - Virgin Media.

I'm trying to configure the router using 192.168.0.1 or whatever it is. It asks for the username and password. I tried my virgin media e-mail and password but nothing. Any ideas?

As above, almost certain it will be:

Username: admin
Password: leave it blank

A user name and password are being requested by http://192.168.0.01. The site says: "Netgear".

Then it that case reset it, it's been changed somewhere.

should have said username = admin

if thats what you tried and didnt work then as optitech-uk says reset it and try again . Should be a small hole on rear you insert a paperclip and press.

Think it's the above. Try looking on the bottom of the router.

i had this problem today. Password and username were written on the modem

Default one was "admin / changme"

For some reason, my router always has "Admin" as the default user, which doesn't work, "admin" however does. It might be a badly cached autocomplete in my broswer, but it seems odd. Anyway make sure you try admin as opposed to Admin.

Yup my virgin one is admin/changeme

try using 192.168.1.1 instead of what your using

and login : admin
password admin

Try leaving the username blank and password admin
