Hi all,

Ive got an AVI which is upside down for some reason. Any idea how I can flip it the right way?

had this before, and turned out to be an out of date codec causing the issue. open the file with a freeware app called Gspot, open the file and find out what codec it requires.

then download and install said codec

Gspot sounds good, might have trouble find it though

i once installed the klite codec pack and it ruined everything. i avoid it now and just download codecs when i need them.

Yeah VLC (Videolan) is one of my fav freeware programs.

You could use virtualdub, videos - filters - add - flip vertical then save as avi.

Videolan is pretty much exactly the same as MPC so you might find it does the same thing, in which case it could be the video itself.

surely you'd be fine with just MPC and FFdshow?

i've never had anything that can't play properly...

*** ffdshow will have an option to flip the video, among many many other things. Media Player Classic and FFDshow are all you need.........
