Using 19" lcd monitor for TV

Ok need a TV for the conservatory but would like to buy new 24" monitor for me. Don't want to upset the wife too much ( spending the pounds) so can I use my 19" with a free view box. This way I get the go ahead to get the 24.

I don't want to get a bad picture on the 19 though.

Yes you can.

Search for this as an example..

It's a digital freeview receiver that has VGA/composite/S-video outputs, so will work on your monitor.
I can't post the link though, as it's a shop, and dont know how good it is, but for the cost, you may aswell buy an lcd tv.
Others on the market to, just google some.

Also various cables you can buy, for a cheaper option, but the quality will be somewhat dissapointing, like the syncBlaster.
