Using 2 different versions of Corsair XMS3

Hi,
The other day I was lucky enough to find a matched pair of 1333Mhz 2 x 2GB Corsair XMS3 on ebay, and having bought another matched pair the week before, I jumped at the opportunity and bought them (£9.40

). However, upon closer inspection, I noticed the part number was different to the pair I already owned.

1 pair is CMX2GX3M1A1333C9

The other pair is TW3X4G1333C9A

Will this cause a problem or can I use them together?

If they are both same DDR then why not?

They appear to have the same specification (1333MHz, 9-9-9-24, 1.5V) so you should be fine.

CMX2GX3M1A1333C9 appears to be the part number for a single 2GB stick so possibly two were sold together as a pair.

Ahh that makes sense. The guy was selling 2 separate 2GB sticks and I bought them both.
