I have 2gig running at the mo, DDR3 and just bought 4 gig. Is it ok to run the 6gig (3x2g) in my PC? I have an AMD setup, Athlon 635 CPU.

Arnt AMD processors dual channel, you'll want to have either 2 or 4 sticks of ram.

The 3x2Gb kits are sold for Intel i7 LGA1336 computers.

I already have 2gig in my PC but just bought a 4gig set. Was wondering if i should leave the 2gig in and put the 4gig in with it or, take the 2gig out and just put the 4gig in?

dual channel doesn't mean u cant use different memory, it just means if they arn't matched, u dont get dual channel operation for a small performance boost.

whether 4gb dual channel, or 6gb single channel is better would depend on your memory usage.

if you rarely/never use more than 4gb, then running 4gb in dual channel would be the best option.

however, if you tend to go over 4gb of usage, then 6gb would give u the better boost
