I have an Asus P5LD2-VM and am considering upgrading the board to one with more PCI slots.
All the boards I have seen that will take my dual core pentium chip only have a maximum of three regular PCI slots.
Surely it must be possible via the use of riser cards or some sort of pci splitter, to connect four PCI devices to a motherboard.
Can anyone suggest a suitable board or shed any light on any possible tweaking needed to get four cards running. (setting IRQs etc.)
The four cards I want to use are three Marian MARC sound cards and a Matrox RTX.100 video editing card.

MAybe you can get an expander, I remmember seeing them on ISA slots, they probably dont make them for PCI but its worth a look.
