Hi all

Iv had my new pc built a few months now and I want to give it a quick clean inside. now iv been looking around for the best way to clean inside and people have said use compressed air cans ( but these are expensive, don't last long and can leak liquid if not used right)

then other people have mentioned something called the Metro vacuum ED500 datavac, I just want to know if these are as good as people say they are, and safe to use, if so I might had well invest in one

just use ya normal vacuum, the dyson has seen the insides of my PC a fair few times now :) just be carefull with the bristly attachment doodah, might be a bit erm staticy xD

I always use my Aeolus Cyclone TD901T - bought about 2 years ago for drying gaps after washing the car to stop run marks after drying, and use it for loads of stuff now. It makes clearning out the PC an utter breeze, like compressed air but unlimited.

Understandably its a tad costly for cleaning a PC one or twice a year, but can also be used for other things - the most interesting recently is after washing shoes in a washing machine, put it on hot and medium speed and push into the shoe, it dries in about 5 minutes, pushes the shoe out so it doesnt feel tight when next work and removes all the wet rinkles. Result!

I bought a 240v Sidewinder Air Pump[3 nozzles] works out far cheaper than buying Air Dusters does a very good job.

Before l use it l give everything a light brush over so as to get the dust out of the nooks and crannies makes for a better job.
