Using a Kindle to read text books for uni?

You can make notes in an ebook with a Kindle.

Silly expensive yes, but amazon.com has an international page for them, I got one delivered to my desk in under 24 (working) hours.

The 3G works just fine. I just hope when Kindle gets enough traction here for them to sign with a UK network my 'international' kindle still carries on with AT&T as I can use any network available then (handy when out in the wilds).

To the same degree of underlining words, writing above sentences, in the margins and sketches? Notes yes, but I am guessing its very basic. Though feel free to prove me wrong :p

Personally, I di not like ebook readers, I much prefer having a paper book. Thats just personal preference!
