Using a Microphone with Sound Blaster Z

OK I got this mic

But I'm having some issues setting it up , as in..I dont really know how to set it up...I would be using it for chat in games , as I'm testingf it ( through sound blaster ) ..it doesnt sound so good , ie some hissing , lag plus a slight " ringing / chime type sound , did I buy a lemon ?

Yeah I'll give it a closer longer look tomorrow Mars .


OK so I plugged the mic in via the front panel ( I know lol )and it works nice
