Using a PS3 with a VGA Monitor?

Hi guys,

Got a bit of a quandary. Can I use a PS3 with a VGA-only LCD monitor? Either using the Analogue or HDMI outputs? If so, how?

I think I'd rather save up and get a more modern monitor, will be more useful in the long run.

Well there is that, its a bit of a pain having a VGA-only screen.
