Using a toggle switch for power on/off?

I've only ever seen computer cases with momentary switches for power and reset. Is it possible to use latching (toggle) switches for this instead and still connect to the motherboard headers? I'd dying to use military style switches and covers. I think that would be awesome. I think that I would orgasm every time I switch on my PC. Maybe I need to get out more?

Typically the PC would shut itself off again after holding the switch closed for a few seconds. I'm not sure if you can change this behaviour.

You can also wire up a normal momentary switch in series with the toggle switch so that you have to engage the toggle switch before you can power up.

To do it off just the one switch you'd need to build a circuit to check power state and have it act accordingly. You'd lose the ability to shut down from power button though.
