Right so I've acquired an old Galaxy Ace (GT-s5830i).

It's running 2.3.6 (Gingerbread)

Can anyone recommend an app which I can use so that I can fit the phone into the car and turn it into a cheap GPS tracker.

The phone will have a 3G data connection as I have a 2nd SIM from my operator to share my phone's data allowance. Can't imagine it'd use much data as it won't need to load maps etc, just report it's GPS co-ords.

Cheers.

Cheers for that.

I didn't think ADM worked for 2.3.

I've no need to worry about the GPS & battery life. The phone is going to be permanantly mounted with a power supply.

And thanks for the Ovivo link. I'll try my share data SIM first see what the usage is.
