So, ive currently got a PC and the southbridge on the mobo has gone. But the Case PSU and HDD are all still okay. Will I be able to buy a new mobo, CPU ram and gfx card and still use the same HDD/OS?
With a new motherboard, you will probably have to reinstall Windows. You might be lucky though and get to boot to windows for long enough to install whatever new drivers are needed. That's most likely if you choose the same make and are just moving up 1 or 2 platforms.
Yeah i thought as much cheers =D Ill just reinstall Windows.
I wont need to do anything about the board Bios will i? Because that installed on the mobo isnt it?
