Using flashing tape with PVC roofing?

Hi All,

Looking for a little advice.

I'm currently looking to build a garden lean to and plan to have a clear pvc corrugated roof.

The PVC flashing which matches the roofing bumps the price up quite a bit.

Could I get away with just flashing tape straight onto the panels without the need for the PVC flashing?

I was going to use flashing tape anyway as I don't have the tools to cut into the brick to install proper flashing but when I think about it as long as its pliable enough I would have thought I could just use flashing tape and mould it into the grooves?

Yup it is doable
Not the ideal solution make sure wall and sheets are dry and warm,heat gun works well,careful not to melt the plastic sheeting

Maybe more hassle that it's worth. I will just use the flashing the same as the PVC profile and then use the flashing tape against the wall and the profile.

For the sake of saving £50 I think it will be easier doing it this way.
