OK, I was having problems with my sammy F3 1TB, so d/l'd HD Tune. Came up with damged blocks through-out, so I checked the hardware manager and found my drive wasn't being picked up. After a quick swap of the SATA cable, the drive is found no problem- no damage either *phew!*
However, on closer inspection, I have found the drive is using UDMA Mode 5, but supports UDMA Mode 6. Is this something to do with the drive or the motherboard? Is it something I could update? If so, would it be worth it?
Cheers guys, I'm a noob when it comes to stuff like this
