Well I'm using my IPhone as a hotspot at work using 4G connection for work as the wifi is appalling.

I can't seem to make my Samaung tab connect this last week(it worked fine last week)

However if I do it at home it connects right away!! It's driving me nuts

I've done a network reset (settings) on my iPhone changed the passwords

There are quite a few wifi signals at work but surly it wouldn't matter?

As the iPhone has its own signal & password to login etc

It does, the more wifi networks in the area, the more interference there is affecting your own wifi signal. Because of overlapping channels it can degrade the speed and quality of yours, which can lead to devices not being able to connect to it.

Just tried that analizer too and my signal is max on channel 1 but tried to use the connector app too and still didn't connect

Well it appears I can use 3G but not 4G :/ bloody odd

But 3G is old hat these days and no good for streaming.

Baffled

3G vs 4G? Do you mean that if you disable 4G data on the iPhone you can tether, but with it enabled you can't?

Have you tried tethering a non-Android device?

Exactly that 4G disable to 3G and it connects if I enable 4G it fails to connect.

No I've not but it was fully working a week and half ago.

Yet to try it with my IPad.
