Using jacks at front of pc case with sound card?

How would this work? I'm looking into getting a sound card in my nzxt phantom and I want to still be able to use the front jacks for my earphones.

Hmm disappointing was looking at getting the Xonar DG.

My earphone cable is barely long enough plugging into the front jack let alone the back.

The DG does have the header for the front panel audio

Oh really? Jolly good!

I mainly want it for listening to music.. Not too fussed about sound quality from games.
