Okay got a bit of an issue where i need two HDMI outputs and my GFX card only has 1 output... it has a load of DP outputs but for whatever reason it will not recognise my monitors are higher than 60z... its possible the dp to hdmi convertors are limited to 60hz.
So got two screen requiring a hdmi to hdmi connection to allow 75hz on one and 4k on the other... both are not possible whilst converting.
My mobo has a hdmi out i could use and this would solve the problem.
The issue i have is i disabled my Ryzens 2200g integrated graphics in favour of my new rx580 as mentioned but also to allow me to get a nice 4ghz overclock.
I dont want to enable the integrated as it will then be drawing power away to keep my 4ghz overclock on the CPU.
Can i use the Mobo outputs without enabling the integrated ? have the graphics on the mobo powered from the DGPU ? or something ?
The Mobo output is going to be used for my 4k tv for playing intensive 4k media but no gaming.
Gaming will be done on the hdmi ouput to monitor on the rx580.
Hope that kind of made sense thanks.
