is it possible to use internet from wireless and lan together at the same time to get a faster connection? As i can use lan from one line or wireless connected to another line. Is it possible to use them both at the same time to get faster connection or make one program use one and another program use another. thanks

I assume your thinking about using an unsecured wireless network.

There was some software posted recently that would do it but i forget the name of it.

You can point different programs at different gateways, but you can't bond LAN connections to get faster internet. You can buy special kit to bond WAN links together to get a faster connection but you need to access it from a single LAN source.

Indeed,

However there was some software posted here (i think) that treated your lan ports as wan ports, therefore it would send some traffic down the lan port and some out of the wireless NIC that presumeably is connected to your neighbours wireless network (which is illigal). Therefore load balacing on the local machine.
If not and there both connected to your own router then there is very little point in doing it.

Leeching next doors internet is illegal but impossible to proove intent if it's unsecured and un named.
i.e Linksys (unsecured network)
you could easily claim you accidentally connected to the wrong one. If it's ecrypted or named: "Smith's_Private" then you could get in to some hot water because your knowingly gaining access to someones resources with out permission.
