Using O2 Wireless Router as just a modem?

I have the typically substandard O2 Wireless Box II, which quite frankly is ****e. However, a friend has given me a near mint condition TL-WR841N router - supports DD-WRT, much better spec but doesn't have an ADSL2+ modem, as far as I can see.

So, is it possible to just use the O2 box as a modem and plug it straight into the new router, and if so how? Obviously I'm unlikely to get exact instructions, but pointing me in the right direction would be a start.

Many thanks.

Just for reference, in case anyone drags this up using the search.

Install DD-WRT, follow the DD-WRT "Wireless Access Point" tutorial on the Wiki, disable wireless on the O2 box. Sorted!

Yes. You can set the O2 Box into bridge mode.

I have the exact same setup with my o2 Box being a dumb modem plugged into the WAN port of my WRT320N.

Note, last time I fiddled with it the "half bridge" mode doesn't seem to work so you can't get in and manage the O2 box from the LAN side of your router once its bridged.
