hi there, not sure if this is in the right forum, and apologies if this seems basic but I'm a beginner when it comes to this sort of stuff

Basically my Bios is set to have my main IdeqShuttle case fan to be permanently on at full whack, this has done my nut in and I have now downloaded "speedfan"

Basically I'm just looking for the ideal idle temps so I can configure my fan's RPM, and the danger temp's at which to stop

I'm no expert on AMD chips but I think the 2400 is OK up to about 70-75 (sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong).

You'll probably want it a bit lower than that though. Personally as long as it isn't going over 65-70 I wouldn't be too worried.

The case (system) temperature will be fine up to around 40degC.

thanks very much, idle is around 40 deg C, and hasn't peaked over 55 yet IIRC

Once again thanks
