So I have a 32'' Alba TV, with HDMI and other components. Has anyone here tried this? and is it any good. Quality wise, response time and so on.

Aye, that TV is 720p (1366x768 native resolution).

As for how to connect it, what are you trying to connect it to - presumably a PC. If so, what graphics card have you got? If the graphics card has a DVI ouptut then you can use a cheap DVI to HDMI adapter or a DVI to HDMI cable and achieve a slightly better image quality than VGA and it should be relatively simple to set up.

As for:
wont get the 32'' OR I will but it will be horrible quality/ hugely pixelated

You will definitely be able to get the full 32 inches, however if you are using the TV as a primary monitor it is a rather small resolution and large screen. Therefore the screen real-estate available will not be much and the pixels will be rather huge for desktop usage (windows, internet, word processing), however in most games and TV/Movies it should look pretty darn good.

I've got a Samsung UE32"B6000 TV as my monitor connected up to my PC GFX card via a straight through HDMI lead and it's quite frankly awsome! Massive amounts of desktop revenue! Plus text is perfectly clear, and games look amazing.

Older games that don't support very high resolutions will make the TV have black edges at the sides but it's not hugely that annoying if you know what I mean!

Sounds good. I myself have been tempted by those 32in 1080p TVs, they look very nice, have a high enough resolution to use like a proper monitor and in games and movies are just amazing due to sheer size.

Unfortunately however, the OP is sitting with a 720p 32in TV, so he won't be able to use it in the same way as he has around half the pixels and the pixels are a good deal larger. That said, for games and movies it should still look excellent - especially when playing 720p content.

Nice card, just hook up a cheap hdmi cable to the output of the mini HDMI to HDMI adapter (included with the card) and you will be away. Using a VGA cable will also be fine, but the digital connection is generally favourable (especially when sorting out TV scaling settings).

Yeah, I just noticed it while installing the power supply.

Facepalm.

Lol, I suppose one day ill hook it up and see what happens.
