Using TV as Monitor, how to connect?

Its a cheap make, made in China with a dodgy "Neon" name stuck on the front...
parents thought they would buy a really good spec but really cheap :/ been a year with no problems, but i will try to look for a model number

Looking at that link, your TV has two HDMI sockets. So using the included DVI to HDMI adapter will be the easiest way as standard HDMI cables can be picked up for a few pounds off the bay, regardless of length really. The other way is to use the mini-HDMI port on the back of the card which will need a cable with the smaller connector on one end and the larger on the other.

Ah, if it has 2 HDMI ports - then that is the way to go.

Your graphics card has a mini-HDMI connector on it - so you will need a simple adapter to convert it to a full-size HDMI connector (perhaps your card came with one). Alternatively, get a HDMI cable with one end male type C (mini) and one end male type A (standard).

ok thank you everyone! I will have a look on OCUK to see if they sell mini hdmi to hdmi, i thought that was what i would need but couldnt see them last time
cheers.

Indeed, HDMI is definately the way to go with this card, just comes down to whether or not to pay the bit extra for a Mini-HDMI to HDMI cable or just get a regular HDMI cable and use the adapter. Pretty sure these Asus cards don't come with a cable, just the yellow DVI to HDMI converters.

Bit of a grey area, post the item number. I guess as they don't stock that item it would be fine if it was an item number or direct link.

Go for the cheapest you can find located in the UK, HDMI cables either work or they don't, unless you are going for extremely long lengths you won't notice any difference.

Here are a couple I found, just paste the item number into the eBay search.
