Greetings,

First off you need to connect just the VM box to one pc via cable and then to ipconfig,

This will give you the gateway address, 192.168.0.? or some thing like that.
We will say its 192.168.1.254 for this.

Disconnect this box and connect the other router to the pc and again do ip config,

Say it has the gateway address of 192.168.1.1 change this to 192.168.0.253 & apply it remove the cable and connect it back to the same router and do ipconfig to make sure you have the right gateway of 192.168.0.253 if this is ok login to the router page using the gateway address and turn off DHCP and any firewall on the router.

Now unplug and power down all devices and then power up the VM box with no other devices connected to it,
Once you get the ready light connect the other router to it via cable and power it up.

Once it has fully powered up connect any other devices you like,
When you do ip config now you should see a gateway address of 192.168.1.254 the VM box you will should be able to access both router pages using gateway addresses of 192.168.1.254 VM & 192.168.1.253 Netgear

Any devices that connect to the netgear will get there ip from the VM box but all devices will be able to access both router logins using they 2 gateways.

In the netgear router page look for some like router ip and it should have the default setting of 192.168.0.1 in it.
You should be able to change this to what you like.
