so that's 3 weeks now since it was last scanned according to the site  was really hoping to have it by now.

Has anyone had this length of delay only to have the a turn up ok?, i reckon it's lost. (maybe move this to general discussion?)

3 weeks over Christmas isn't that bad at all.

You'll find there are a lot of packages being sent and received at this time of year, so Customs is probably pretty busy too.

What delivery was it sent by?

I wouldn't worry about it then...

I've had packages take 3 weeks and that was over summer :)

EDIT: Oh, and the tracking can be a bit odd sometimes. Sometimes I get an email saying it's passed through Customs, other times it just turns up...

What was the value marked as?

If it wasn't over the Christmas/New Year period I would be getting worried.

If however it doesn't arrive this week or at the very least you find out where it is at, I would be tempted to report the matter to the place you purchased it from, UPS and I'd also inform your credit card company.

Email them ASAP and find out if it was sent as a low value gift...

If it wasn't - wait for the Parcelforce bill :(
If it was - if you still don't have it by next Thursday tell them it's still not come and ask what they can do about insurance.

I'd start to get worried about the customs if I were you. And I will find out tonight if I'm screwed aswell:D

I heard anything above 150 dollars will get your nailed, dunno about that being 100% true or that only counts in netherlands here.

Yeah - over here, rules are:

Marked as a gift - over £35 or so (tax will be applied to full value)
Not marked as a gift - over £17 or so (tax will be applied to full value)

Your charged 17.5% VAT + a clearing fee.

Just got an update -

07-01-2008 21:52 International Hub Arrived in destination country

29-12-2007 12:44 Delivery Agent - UNITED STATES AMERICA Collected from customer

How long do you think it'll take to arrive in the UK? On Saturday when it said it left, I would have thought it'd be in the UK by now for delivery this week - at the moment, it looks like next week is more likely :(

Not sure, it's taken over 3 weeks for me all in.
prosser - do you have to actually go to the depot? can't i pay online? it was supposed to get delivered to my local P.O.
