thinking about returning to UT04 as i played UT3 yesturday after a long time off it and the online community on there is DEAD :eek:

hardly anyone playing on there now, its worse now than it was a while back!
so i am wondering firstly is ut04 still going strong and does anyone from here play it much?
ok, UT99 will always be the legend but its just too old now and just dosn't seem as fun anymore

main reason for UT04 is the shiny graphics and the 'not too far from 99' gameplay.. if that makes sense

Yes, although you'll need a lot of third party addons to join some of the more active servers

Seems to be - but remember that you can get UT2004 considerably by itself than in the anthology.

Still plenty of people playing. Jolt ONS Torlan demo always has people. Same goes for Jolt Rankin.

Never have to wait around that long for a 1on1 either

i play mainly play insta games (right in the deep end)

so, iDM iTDM iCTF

and also assault, i miss that as its kinda lame that UT3 didnt have it
