Looks friggin' awesome! Those graphics are just jaw dropping.

Full Dx10 and multicore support I assume? ;)

Can't wait for this, easily my most anticipated game this year. :D

Pretty sure DX10 was added as a afterthought, dont think it uses it much

I just watched that and i am it awe...jaw dropping, i even got goose bumps

It felt better than any Crysis vid i have seen but im lookin forward to that too. Totally Different game anyway

Makes me want to dig out UT 2004 tbh

OMG with this and Crysis I actually have an excuse to buy an 8800GTS :D.

Looks awesome imo, ok not breathtaking gfx like crysis, but the gameplay more than makes up for it.

they ruined UT when they added veichles!

Dull

Oh c'mon, play deathmatch/ capture the flag / tdm if you don't like vehicles, I like ut both with and without vehicles, imo the onslaught & assault modes ( wich have vehs. ) add to the gameplay, the dm etc modes will still be without vehicles I think in UT3, so you can still play a great game without vehicles.

I'll be sticking with my 8800gts and rebuilding a nice quad core rig. Then no doubt realise I want more and buying a 8800gtx :p

Similar situation here, although I'll probably end up buying back my second GTS and SLIing them.

Tute, yes it is reported to be fully multithreaded, and will make use of DX10 but for performance gains instead of added eyecandy.

A tl;dr summary for the attention impaired.

* 512 MB memory required while 2 GB is optimal.
* DX10 and Vista required for FSAA (full-screen anti-aliasing). It looks like DX9 cards won't be able to use FSAA at all.
* More recent DX9 video cards (2006 and newer) run the game "quite well."
* Current high-end cards, including the DX10 nVidia 8800 series, run it "amazingly well."
* Using DX10 will improve performance and will enable higher texture detail settings.
* SLI gives a good performance boost, especially with high resolutions, and Crossfire probably will as well.
* Dual- and quad-core CPUs will benefit quite a lot by the engine's multi-threaded nature.
* Threaded rendering and other things allow UE3 to scale very well to average PCs.
* UE3 > Cry Engine 2.

Quoted from Yahoo Games News

Epic Games’ Unreal 3, however, does look like a step-up in performance. Midway will publish Unreal 3 exclusively on PS3 this autumn, but with PC and Xbox 360 versions due early next year. The boon for PS3 owners is that – thanks to the open-platform nature of the PS3 online network – the PC game modifications (skins, maps etc) uploaded by the Unreal community can be added to the PS3 game via PSN

Well, for saying the number of release dates that have been published before, I'm refusing to get excited, no matter how much I want to.

Ah well..... WOOT!
