UT3 Demo Within 2 Weeks!

Anyones' guess. It seems a few UT3 engined demos have come in at just under 2gig. Depends how generous they are with the content.

The UT2004 demo had 7 maps was about 280Mb. Aaaah, I remember where I was when that came out 8)

That's actually a problem for me. Really enjoying Halo 3, TF2 and Bioshock still and I dont have time for em all.

Going to have to say goodbye to TF2 and Halo 3

tf2 is far too much fun to stop playing and you owe it to yourself to play it, ditch the dirty console stuff heh,,,

I might have to pack in work! in the last few weeks i've bought Bioshock, World in Conflict, Halo 3, Quake Wars, Sega Rally, TF2 and will be buying PGR4 friday. Now a demo of one of the best games of all time is about to be released! Seriously where do they think us poor gamers get the time to play all these games?

back in we were waiting for the UT2003 demo Mark Rein said exactly the same thing and the demo ended up getting delayed by around 2 months

No, he said 'more than two weeks'. But a bunch of people (see also: practically everyone) misread it.

The development team feels they're pretty close to being ready to release this so it could come out this week but for safety sake I'd say it should be out within two weeks.

Sound like it could be less than 2 weeks to me?

I wasn't referring to the UT3 demo. I was referring to the UT2003 demo where Rein said the demo for that would be released in more than two weeks since his announcement. Everyone misread that.

Well from this it would be reasonable to say that the PC version of UT3 is on track for its November release date. For EPIC have always (to my recollection) released the demo approxamately one month before the game hits the shelves.

That was the best bit of it! The death match and capture the flag tended to get boring after a few rounds, whilst vehicles added a whole dimension to the game.
