Hmm true, it is. I don't remember having 1.7.6 though? I went from 1.7.5 to 1.7.7 so theoretically I can add the 1.7.6 fixes as well.

I tried this before and ive just tried it again and i still have the same old problem. When i use this client my web browsing grinds to a total halt, like 30 seconds to goto a new page, even though i manually setup and test port forwarding and even if i set upload limit to 10k/s and download to the same. Im on a 4-5 mb connection. ( zen internet ).

For the past year ive used bit-tornado and have zero problems with slow browsing even when uploading at near 30k/s and downloading well over 150k/s... hell i can even play warcraft while its doing that!!

What am i doing wrong?

It could just be how uTorrent works? I get that on my PC at home and here at Uni.

Hmm I use utorrent here too and can download at 1.4MB/sec~ without having a slow browser.

When its slow what happens is IE shows "connecting to 123.123.123.123 etc " in the bottom left, almost as if the DNS is not responding. Its an odd one certainly.

The browser speed is normally the result of having too many connections. Options Preferences > BitTorrent and then knock down the global connections and connections per torrent until things improve. I go for 150, 35 and 3 for the first 3 options myself.
