Utter Noob Website Design Question

Its bad, really bad, I'm in dreamweaver, I've made 2 pics links to other sites, white pics on a black background, but as there now links, blue boxes have appeared around the pics, and then they turn purple once clicked - ahh a hyperlink default rubbish thing, can I for the life of me find out how to stop it doing that ? NO

Dreamweaver CS3, any pointers would be utterly awesome
 
either <img src="img.png" width="10" height="10" border="0"> in the html, or img { border-width: 0px; } in the css :)
 
You can also do it in the body tag

<body link="#FFFFFF" vlink="#FFFFFF" alink="#FFFFFF">

I'm pretty sure those won't pass any sort of XHTML validation though :)

Click on the picture in DW, add 0 into the "border" attribute on the properties toolbar.
