I had an acquaintance when i was a teenager that pretended he had cancer to get some attention from the group at the pub i hung out in.
I Always thought he was a bit of a bell and a few months later when he came clean, after really hamming it up for ages, it all seemed VERY odd. Poor bloke was probably as mental as this woman.
She's wrecked her life. Silly girl.

Yes it's wrong and she deserves jail but your post is an overreaction to say the least. She played on people's sympathy to steal money under false pretenses, hardly comparable to murderers, rapists etc :rolleyes:
