v moda boompro mic help

Hi all I just received my v moda boompro mic and I am having issues when connecting through my O2 amp then on to my D2X.

The sound is crackly and distorted but when directly running to the D2x everything sounds fine??

Boompro mic > Fidelio x2 > O2 amp > Y Splitter cable > Xonar D2X

any info will be much appreciated, cheers
 
I think you're going to need to bypass the 02 mate or split the mic off before the 02.

Unless I an getting this wrong, you are feeding the mic signal through an amp which does not take a mic?

Thanks buddy, tried splitting off but ended up with motherboard interference as well :/

Might grab a GSX 1000/1200 and be done with the D2X :)
 
Is it any good when working? Thinking about getting one myself.

Cheaper than a modmic which I would buy but don't want to stick anything to my 650's.
 
Don't think it can be attached to the 650s without some kind of DIY bodge job. Seems to be an OK mic but nothing special.
