I just bought a Micron SE in the end, its very cheap and is going to be little more than a toy. I couldn't have justified the money for a Monomachine or a Radias. I know a lot of people may have suggested a Korg Micro Korg at this kind of money, but I preferred the Micron. It still seems to pack quite a punch for such a cheap little synth. I've a number of Workstations which are pretty much all sample based, so I just wanted to have a play around with a different synthesis method.
Not that this is my style of music, but just an idea of what it sounds like. Afterall it was a whopping £299
Just in case anyone gets the wrong idea, none of the videos are me. Still waiting on mine to be delivered (only ordered today). It was just to give an idea of what the Micron sounds like, despite its small price tag.
