I did a banana boat last year in Batangas, pulled by a speedboat at less than safe speeds it was absolutely terrifying. Definitely wouldn't catch my cycling over forests though!

In previous lives I was English, French, American, Scottish and Swedish .. However to answer your question, it really does not deserve an answer and if you think it does, then you my friend have a serious problem.

Must admit, "vacationing" does sound odd around these parts. But I guess that's just the natural progression of language with outside influence.

i can appreciate that with the youth and today's technology.
but with grumpy old man here, he could be swedish and they use that term or he might just be impressionable who knows lol

Anybody who travels a lot and has lived in different countries for longer than a couple of years is most likely going to pick up a thing or two as in my case.

To be fair vacation is derived from Latin so it's not the worst Americanism to use. Most people could care less.
