This reminds me of a film I saw. A scientist had built a teleportation machine and was trying it out for the first time and it worked at first, but strange things started happening over time after the seemingly successful teleportation. He started to drip sap and grow thorns! He realised that a flower must have snuck its way into the teleportation machine, so that when he was teleported his DNA and the flower's had mixed. He became addicted to fertilizer and couldn't fit into human society anymore.. What was the name of this film? It's been so long now...

I found this film gritty and at times heart-wrenching. The camera work was excellent and the realism of it was really unique. I loved every minute. It also sparked a lifelong interest in brazilian cinema for me.

I would watch this film.
