Havent seen a thread on this but I'll throw my hat in the ring and say that people should check this out, its really good. Little bit of soulslike, little bit of bioshock, little bit of Hunt Showdown atmosphere. I'm probably 75% of the way through the game now and really enjoying it, probably one of the top 5 games I've played this year, hope that it sells well enough for them to create a Valor Mortis 2

Yeah, I'm a few hours in and enjoying it. There's a bit of clunkiness here and there but mostly I like how it translates the mix of melee, parrying and firearms/transmutations to first-person.
In typical soulslike fashion, I am finding the dog enemies the most annoying.

You may also like Guns of Eschaton which has a demo out now. A souls like alt-cowboy thing. Im not a fan of souls likes myself but this style might be right up your alley.

)Finally just got round to giving the demo of this a go, got to say I wasnt convinced for the first 20 mins or so but after that all the game mechanics kind of clicked and I really enjoyed it. I do feel a little sorry for the studio because the game has some very interesting (and unique afaik) mechanics but they are a smallish studio and I suspect that some big money studio will look at this and think wow thats a good idea and chuck money at making a high production money backed title using similar mechanics but yeah enjoyed the demo and added it to my wishlist so thanks for bringing it to my attention
