Hope this doesnt break the rules, but after reading these boards I am slowly tempting myself into getting a system, but in order to fund my desires I'll need to sell my bits.

So, basically, how much do you think I could get for:

Athlon 64 3500+ (socket 754, I think)
AV8 KT800Pro motherboard
1 gig pc3200 ram (1 stick)
GeForce 6800GT 256meg

Do you think I would get more money for selling it individually, or as a bundle? TBH it's a fairly decent gaming rig at the moment, but after reading these boards all I want is more, damnit... more... :D

Hi, Thats a 939 rig.

At a guess i would say you could get the following for them,

A64 3500+ £50 if you are lucky. The thing is you can get 3800+ for as low as £78.

AV8 KT800Pro £15 (ish).

1Gb pc 3200 £20-30 depending on make.

6800GT i would say £120.

If you stuck them all on a well known auction site you could possibly get more as people don't seem to know the real value of components on there and end up paying considerably more than if they bought from an online retailer. You should see your 6800gt getting up to £160 on there as agp cards have been going for silly prices.

You could stick them all in the MM on here but they are a tight bunch on here and will batter your prices down. ;)

Questions like this can be asked in the price check area of the members market, this will be available to you after 200 posts iirc?

Its a 939 rig.

Athlon 64 3500+
around £70, depending on what core, venice / newcastle / winchester
AV8 KT800Pro motherboard
£15
1 gig pc3200 ram (1 stick)
£25
GeForce 6800GT 256meg
£110

That is a shame, though if they're going to drive my prices down it'd probably best if I use that other site! :p

Do you think all in I could get £250, perhaps? Seems a bit mad that I could sell almost an entire PC and in return just by a single processor brand new - but then again that is the PC world we live in! :D
