Van speed camera

If it was an 'app' it would need to warn him in time though, to be useful (or is that the upgraded pay version) - the 300-400yds above, or with some padding half a mile;
equally I suppose you cannot 'enhance' a modern cars traffic/speed sign recognition software, which would probably have more chance than a radar detector, since it is a small beam.

I assume the detectors can just be targetted on the centre of the carriageway, and the operator just has to trigger it, when a car arrives, if it is not able to trigger itself automatically. ?

Waze can/will warn you several miles in advance initially, even at the outset of a journey if I recall correctly.

When is it they have to notify you by? it was 29th December, been 2 and a half weeks now not had anything through.

Getting quietly optimistic here...

The NIP has to go out within 2 weeks (though thats them sending within 2 weeks, not you getting it within 2 weeks).

Usually it will be a couple of days after though, I guess youve probably gotten away with it.

Id give it another week or so, considering the time of year. Remember it's issue within 2 weeks not received.

They most likely had the laser aimed at another vehicle as I discovered a while back when car may or may not have been possibly travelling at a certain speed during a van overtake so didn't see the flyover ahead until the overtake was completed. One of the upsides of all lanes being occupied at the time, you can just get lucky I guess.
