Great news for coke lovers like me:

Vanilla Coke makes GB comeback

Having suffered the brunt of the French soft drinks excise tax already, Brock said that CCE still saw the country as a “land of opportunity”, with the lowest per-capita soda consumption levels in Europe.

Patricot revealed that CCE would introduce new products and packaging in 2013 to boost growth in GB and France.

“For France and GB, we’re going to introduce the 1.75 liter bottle in GB, a 1 liter PET in France. And on top of that we’ll have new product and flavor introductions,” Patricot said.

“Vanilla Coke in GB [previously sold there from 2002-2006] Cherry Coke Zero in GB and France, and Fanta Peach a breakthrough in France too. At the same time, we’re going to push to lower entry-point packages, which are pretty important in the current environment.”

CCE would extend distribution of its 375ml pack (currently on sale in GB) to France and Benelux, Patricot added.

“These are the reasons which make us say that we can return to volume growth, starting in France, but in Europe in general,” he said.

Interesting! I've tried Cherry Coke Zero and Vanilla Coke Zero from import sites. Liked both of them. Will be nice to have them on sale over here at more reasonable prices.

Hope they think about bringing Fanta pineapple, peach or apple here too :)

I am a massive fanta orange and lemon fan, the orange is sweet but not sickly sweet just nice. The lemon is tart as you would expect, zingy and refreshing.

More fanta flavours please!

I've bought Fanta Pineapple from American Soda. It is fantastic! Not too sickly sweet and incredibly refreshing!
 
Fanta Tropical Punch was the nuts, but I only ever saw it in SA.

Did it ever make it over here? The green stuff, not the fruit punch flavour.
 
Been buying the odd can of Vanilla Coke in my local news agent for years. Does this news mean I won't have to pay £1.50 any more? TBH white rum and Vanilla Coke is worth it
 
Buy vanilla coke zero from an import shop in Bristol often, though hopefully this general availability will mean a normal price for it!

no, its £1.69 for the 1.5l bottle, what they show as £1 is an alternative (normal coke) which is reduced from £1.68

Nothing beats fanta strawberry. Had it from the american sweet shop in the metro centre, was £1.50 a can though and had to stop myself buying a crate.
