Hi,
I'm thinking of buying a Vapochill Lightspeed & would like to know what problems i might encounter.

Will it need to be on 24/7?

How safe is it(worried about CPU damage)?

I'm runing as Asus A8N32-SLI with an FX55 San Diego.

Thanks in advance.

want it all anodised a nice colour? ;)

Tom

Like the nice one's in the case section.

Might get it painted a nice colour as i'm a Car bodyshop estimator so can get things painted for nothing :)

But would love one of those anodised cases...very nice indeed.

The reason i went for the Vapo was because a competitor was selling them on a weekly special deal for £400 inc delivery. My next problem is trying to remove the motherboard backing plate on my Asus A8N32-SLI as it seem to be fixed on with some sort of sticky pad.Anyone know how to remove it without destroying the motherboard?

Thanks.

Well i think i'll sell my FX55 & buy a cheaper CPU like an X2 3800 and clock it what would you expect to get out of that chip under vapo?

Thanks again for all your help people :)

Just two more quick question to you phase owners, say i run 6 hours a day...when i switch the unit off condensation will appear due to the change in temp's will the Vapochill's heat pads stay on to get rid of this before shutting off?
Is it worth buying some off that liquid tape to coat around the socket?

Thanks again & sorry for a total phase NOOB :p

You should definately try that FX55 under the vapo :D If you dont send it my way and ill let you know how it clocks :D

It will do 2.9Ghz under air with stock volts 1.34v(primed for 24 hours) never taken it any further to be honest.Just don't fancy putting it under phase prefer to buy a cheaper cpu. :)
