Just called T-Mobile to enquire about the Vario II. Apparently its not going to be called the Vario II when its released on T-mobile. The direct sales guy stated it was an updated version of the Vario and would be released in October 
I don't know how true this is. I thought I'd mention it as I know people on this board are holding out for it.
