Vasectomy

it may happen yes anything is possible however i think 1/4000 is not very good and it would be my luck that i would be the unkucky sod.

Not that i am thinking of doing it but i am 27 and the wife does remind me that she wants kids soon!

Am i correct in thinking that a vesectomy can reverse itself and you could find out that some time down the line she has a bun in the oven its uncommon but it has happened.

Just confirmed. it appears to be around approximately 1 in 4000 GOOD LUCK!

Yeah it happens to Dr Cox in scrubs. It's funny on TV but not funny in real life. :o the pain! No thanks!

I know of a guy that has had it done twice.

Still even after both tomes he has managed to get his wife up the duff:p

I'd miss stuff coming out. It's a bit messy though, it should just come out in a small pellet.

Stuff still comes out, or are you being crazy?

I had mine done last year, it's OK but wait until the bruising starts in a couple of days!

The worst part of my op was pretty painful for a couple of seconds, the doc caught something down there ever so briefly and it felt like I'd been kicked, extremely hard, in the balls. He did apologise afterwards :p

that alsmost made me spray my monitor with the water i was drinking!

You should have told her to get it done. Why should you? Tie/punch her ovaries tubes or somethang.

Probably because the operation for a woman is considerably more invasive than for a man, what with our tubes already being mostly out of the body already.

I believe seamen is still ejaculated, it just doesn't contain sperm. chaps??

Interesting spelling there :D

Quick straw poll... how many others have had this done?

I've been considering it for a while... Happily married for ages, and I already have a family which I have no desire to increase.

Likewise, but I keep putting it off. I'm (rapidly :( ) approaching 40 have a family and happily married, so I have no need to sow seeds as it were. Beats overcoats and complications with the pill etc

I too was going to have mine done as my misses is 30 and i am 32 and already have a boy 12 and a girl 10 and we are 100% we don't want more kids.
We went to the GP at the same time and both booked appointments for a consultation, my wife got her consultation through and then was booked in for the operation.
She had the operation just over a week ago and i still have heard nothing.
No need for me now as the missus has been sterilized. She had a quick 30 minute operation through one key hole cut through her belly button and they had little trouble doing whatever it is they do and had to make another tiny cut in her pubic area. She feels fine now and was out the same day.
I believe all they did to her was clamp her tubes and job done :D

Well its been 3 days now and all is fine. I wouldn't say I've had pains at all just an uncomfy feeling in my briefs (yes we all know you need to wear tighter fitting under crackers). Only used pain killers for the first day.

In 14 and 16 weeks have got to take a sperm/seamen sample to the local Bupa hospital. You have to telephone first to make sure there is someone there, as you have to get it there within 1 hour.

So glad I don't live further than an one hour drive away otherwise would have to use the car park outside ("Excuse me sir but what are you doing" said mr plod), and don't even talk about if you have to use public transport

Had mine back in 1975 when it was done with a chainsaw ...lol

For those that are interested; the needle does not go into your balls just the scotum and sometimes the tubes that are to be cut.
No pain but an interesting sensation watching smoke come from your sack when they cauterise.
Drove myself to the clinic and back afterwards; no problems.
