Hi,

First of all this is not meant to be a flame or a wine regarding this site, simply a suggestion :)

Is there a particular reason why it is still using vBulletin Version 3.0.7? With the latest vBulletin there are so many more features that will aid users when posting and searching the forums, make it much easier for us all.

Just thought I'd ask :p

This has been around for a very long time (for most of which I haven't been a user admittedly) and it's been working fine. Don't fix what isn't broken :p

Pah beaten, that'll teach me to type unnecessary babble.

If it ain't broke..

But if we had that approach to everything nothing would be updated and you would still be using a ZX Spectrum 48K. Just because it works at the present doesn't mean improvements shouldn't be made.

Anyone remember what it looked like before the latest version update? I remember logging on after the update and thinking it looked so strange, weird how you get used to things.

*Predicts an old timer will come along and get nostalgic about the black and white OcUK days :D*

Not true. Larger bandwidth requirements and lack of production/support for hte older version sparked the progression.

I remember reading these forums in 1's and 0's son! Be happy that you have text to read.

It also costs money to upgrade and costs a considerable amount in staff hours to implement the upgrade properly.
These forums cost enough to run already, upgrades are usually carried out when the benefits are worthy of the extra cost/hassle.
