So I have just OCed my system from 2.6GHz to 3.0Ghz, I have a Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5300.

I was wondering if I need to do anything to my vcore when OCing it? And how exactly do I know it's stable? I have been monitoring my Temperature and it seems to be sticking around 50 when using the full 3.00Ghz. (Max was 62)

Basically I want to know if I should OC my FSB to 266 (3.66Ghz I believe) Would it be too crazy?

I have this fyi; http://www.gigabyte.eu/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2841#sp

Prime 95 is a standard cpu stress testing program.

Run that to check if your overclock is stable. If it is then you don't need to increase your voltages any. Definitely keep an eye on your temps then as this will make your cpu work at 100%!

Depending on how stable you want to check for is how long you run it. Checking stability as I go along I might run it for an hour or two, when I have reached my final speed I will run it for 12-24hrs.

If you want to try for 3.66ghz then that's up to you :) I have no idea what an E5300 is capable of.

Thought I should let you know that I finished with OCing. I am sticking with 3Ghz, It's very calm and nice at this OC and going any higher won't be necessary :)
