Hi. does VDC and Amp make difference in Hard Drives?. My 2TB Seagate has VDC +5 +12 and Amp 0.75A 0.75A. My 500GB seagate is. VDC +5 +12 and Amp 0.72A 0.52A.

does the Amp make a difference in as this hard drive was for my old PC but my newer hard drive has stopped working so using this older one for now but just wanted to no if it was safe. thanks.?.

Amps are the current it draws at the specified voltage. Voltage is regulated by the power supply and will always be or be very close to 5v and 12v in this case.

Wattage tells you how much power the is being userd. Wattage = voltage x amps so your 2Tb drive pulls 5(v) * 0.75(a) = 3.75watts + 12(v) * 0.75(a) = 9watts. 3.75 + 9 = 12.75watts. the older drive pulls 9.99w in total so the difference is less than 3w. Absolutely nothing to worry about - it'll be fine:)
